On 22 April 2023, I had the opportunity to attend the ordinary sub-district party conference of the SPD in the district of Harburg at Seevetal Castle. In perfect weather, around 63 delegates were present to elect, among other things, a new sub-district executive.

For me personally, this day was a great success and an important step in my political quest for more justice. I was elected deputy sub-district chair of the SPD in the district of Harburg.

The candidacy was a great opportunity for me to share my political convictions and ideas for the future of our region. Before the ballot, I had the opportunity to present my vision of future board work in a short statement. My focus was on more social justice, climate and environmental protection, better networking of the political levels and the promotion of the young generation. As deputy chairperson of the sub-district, I will work to ensure that these issues are further advanced and, in addition, for an open, democratic and tolerant society in which everyone has the same opportunities and rights.

I would like to take this opportunity to once again express my sincere thanks to all the SPD local associations who have placed their trust in me. The successful party conference was an important step for the SPD in the district of Harburg and a signal for a committed and future-oriented policy.

The entire sub-district is made up as follows:
